At AVAC we have a large number of members who participate in all the USTA Leagues. There is league play for adults from ages 18 to 80.

AVAC tennis is the place to be! We have programs for every level from beginners, back to the game players to the most advance players. Our 10 lighted championship courts are easily viewed from our 2 covered observation decks equipped with heaters and party arrangements.
We proudly offer top notch instructional programs, drop in clinics, junior lessons and match play, reservable courts, and a variety of USTA tournaments and leagues.

League Play at AVAC
League play is complimented by our instructional programs to help improve your match play performance. Want to get some non-league match play in? Our staff will help you find matches, you can attend our Friday, Saturday and Sunday drop in match play sessions to find games or join in on our theme tennis socials through out the year.
We have USTA League play for our juniors as well. Starting with our USTA Red, Orange and Green ball matches for our 10 & Under juniors to our USTA Junior Team Tennis League play for our 12-18 yr old juniors. The league play is designed for all levels of junior tennis. Our 14 & Under Co-ed Team recently won the California Championships and competed in the Junior Nationals in South Carolina.
Pickleball
The fastest growing sport in the U.S. that brings a crowd to local parks, country clubs, tennis clubs, rec centers, & is a total blast. . . AVAC® has it! We have 5 new permanent courts, as well as 4 blended line courts available for play. Fun for all ages and abilities.
Facilities
Our six-acre campus includes a Fitness Center, Free Weight section, Group Fitness Room, Pilates and Kinesis studios as well as luxurious locker rooms which feature steam rooms, combo steam/showers, and saunas.

A year-round indoor Swim School, 10 championship lighted tennis courts, Tennis Pro Shop, Poolside Cafe, outdoor Olympic pool, children's wading pool and spas provide a full range of activities for members and guests. Luxurious locker rooms feature steam rooms, combo steam/showers, and saunas.
Tennis Pros
We offer a complete program for all junior and adults featuring the most up to date instructional techniques, drop in clinics, specialty clinics and tennis social mixers. Our program is staffed by USPTA and USPTR certified pros under the direction of our head pro Ken DeHart.

Tennis Pros at AVAC
Ken is a USA High Performance Coach and Gold Medal Winner in the Bay Area Senior Games. He is a PTR National Tester, Wilson Premier Advisory Staff Member who writes instructional articles for all the major tennis magazines. His senior instructional staff has been with Ken for 10 plus years and the junior staff are all former students of Ken’s.

AVAC welcomes all tennis players to our courts. Whether just beginning your experience with this noble sport – or a seasoned enthusiast – our staff of pros under the Tennis Director Ken DeHart, are here to customize a program just for you, your friends or your team. We offer private and group lessons as well as our famous drop in clinics for all levels. We are here to offer outstanding service!

Junior Program at AVAC
AVAC is a leader in NorCal in the USTA’s 10 & Under tennis using age and skill level appropriate tennis courts, racquets and red, orange or green ball instruction and competition on weekends. Our older juniors compete in Junior Team Tennis and have gone to national competitions. We still offer programs for teens looking to get ready for junior high and high school tennis.

Drop-In Drills & Games are an integral part of AVAC’s weekly roster, along with USTA Leagues, private lessons, as well as an exciting series of social play and organized tournaments.

Drop-In Clinics at AVAC
We offer a variety of opportunities to show up at one of the scheduled drop in times to work on your game, get a workout, meet new players or those special times when you cannot find a game. We offer a discount if you purchase a series of 5 or 10 clinics that you can use at your convenience.

AVAC hosts a variety of USTA and club tournaments for both serious and casual players. We also proudly host tournaments for children using age appropriate court sizes and equipment.

Tournaments at AVAC
USTA tournament in May that has been held at the club for many years. It is an award winning tournament for all NTRP skill levels.
We also host several 10 & Under - Red, Orange and Green ball tournaments for our younger players throughout the year.
Our goal is to service many of our members tennis needs as we can - competitive, social, fun and instructional. We invite you to become part of the AVAC family of tennis.
Tennis at AVAC is my "fountain of youth". I discovered at a young age that tennis players stayed young, healthy and vibrant. I love knowing my daughter can enjoy tennis at AVAC and play in a fun and safe environment.
